Welcome to the AI in Automotive Podcast

All around the world, hundreds of companies, big and small, are using AI technologies to bring an unprecedented level of innovation and disruption to the automotive industry.

“Predicting the future isn’t magic; it’s artificial intelligence.”
— Dave Waters

Imagine sitting in the backseat of a car, sipping on a cup of tea and catching up on the morning news on your iPad. You look up occasionally while the car crawls through the notorious traffic in your city, or zips down the motorway taking you briskly to your destination. Nothing unusual about this scene, except, there’s no driver. The car is driving itself. Not just that, the car is constantly communicating with its environment - other vehicles on the road, smart road signs, signals.

By the way, staying with the scene, the car is not yours...a majority of us have long stopped owning cars. This car will drop you where you need to go, and a different one will pick you up when you are ready to hit the road again.

How far do you think we are from this future? This is not the distant future...it is very rapidly becoming our present, thanks, in large part, to the power of data and Artificial Intelligence.

All around the world, hundreds of companies, big and small, are using AI technologies to bring an unprecedented level of innovation and disruption to the automotive industry.
